Yes, we recommend doing all color services prior to K-Gloss treatment. Applying K-Gloss after a color, highlight or gloss service on the same day will lock in your new color and prevent fading.
I have fine hair, will K-Gloss make my hair flat?
No, In fact, K-Gloss was designed to keep the natural body of the hair. Collagen is infused to keep each hair strand to its fullest. After the initial application, the natural body will return with each shampoo.
I perm my hair, will K-Gloss affect my curls?
Yes, K-Gloss will enhance your permed hair leaving it fuller, softer, and bouncier with more shine. K-Gloss will also remove the frizz that is associated with curly permed hair making the curls more uniform with a seamless pattern. K-Gloss works with all perms (digital, cold, and acid to name a few) K-Gloss can be used as a pre-service or post service to a perm. What kind of Keratin?
K-Gloss acquires its Keratin from aquatic marine organisms, not from animals. We are water-based, vegan, and cruelty-free!

How often do I have to do the K-Gloss treatment?
At-Home De-Frizzing Treatment lasts up to 7 shampoos. The professional treatments last up to 3 months.
I color my hair / I get Highlights, will K-Gloss alter my color or tone?
No, K-Gloss will not alter any artificial or natural color pigment in the hair. In fact, K-Gloss will enhance and improve the vibrancy of new and old color by imparting intense shine and creating a crystalline effect throughout the hair.
Will K-Gloss straighten my curly hair?
No, k-Gloss is not a relaxer, it does NOT break any internal bonds in the hair. It is designed to eliminate unwanted frizz making the hair more manageable. In some cases, it may soften the curls by 20% on fine hair.
What is the application time for K-Gloss?
K-Gloss normally takes about 1 - 1.5 hours to apply depending on the length and thickness of the hair in Salon.
K-Gloss De-Frizz At Home Treatment is applied to clean hair and can be blow dried after 10 minutes.
